What’s your sector focus at Granger Reis and why do you like it?
My focus sits within the Natural Resources practice, a sector that has shaped my personal career for nearly a decade. Mining is fundamental to human progress - every era of development has relied on the materials beneath our feet and the leaders capable of stewarding them responsibly. I enjoy this space because it blends technical complexity, global impact, and human leadership. Being able to connect, advise and guide exceptional executives with organisations that drive the world’s resource future is deeply rewarding

What excites you about the future for the executive search industry?
The future of executive search is becoming more sophisticated without losing the human element that makes it effective. AI can accelerate research, but it can’t replicate the intuition, context, and relationship building that sit at the heart of leadership advisory. What stands out to me is how the industry is evolving from project based / need-based delivery to long term partnership - helping organisations build leadership capability over time, not just fill roles. That cohesion between past work, current mandates, and future strategy is where the industry is heading, and it’s a direction I’m energised by.
