What’s your sector focus at Granger Reis and why do you like it?
I’m part of the Real Assets team, focusing on real estate, infrastructure and digital infrastructure. What I find particularly interesting about the sector is how tangible its impact is on the world around us. From the places we live and work to the infrastructure that keeps businesses and communities connected, these assets are fundamental to how society functions and evolves. I find it fascinating to look at the businesses behind them and understand how the right leadership can shape their growth, navigate change and deliver lasting value.
What excites you about the future of the executive search industry?
It is the opportunity to have an even greater impact on the businesses we work with. Having worked in search, I believe our role goes well beyond identifying the right talent. We have a unique view of the market, an understanding of leadership talent and insight into what other businesses are doing, which can be incredibly valuable to clients. I think there is a real opportunity to bring that specialist perspective into the conversation, challenge thinking and support businesses in making some of their most important decisions. For me, the most rewarding part of executive search is knowing that the work we do can contribute to the direction of a business and make a tangible difference to its future.
In your opinion, what makes Granger Reis different?
For me, what makes Granger Reis stand out is the importance it places on being authentic, having the courage to tell inconvenient truths and embracing diversity. I’ve always believed that the best relationships, both professionally and personally, come from being genuine, being open to different perspectives and having the confidence to say what needs to be said. I love the fact that no two people think or approach things in exactly the same way, and I believe that difference is something to be embraced. In executive search, that means looking beyond the obvious, challenging assumptions and making sure we are having the right conversations. For me, it’s about being true to who you are, bringing your own perspective to the table and making a meaningful difference along the way.
