Ex-Chairman and CEO of CBRE EMEA Appointed as Chairman of Granger Reis

We are delighted to announce the appointment of real estate figure head, Michael Strong, as our new Chairman. With over 40 years of experience within the commercial property market, Michael will play a key role in leading our strategic direction as industry experts within the built environment sector.

A specialist in advising clients on a wide variety of major development, investment and leasing projects, Michael has provided general consultancy advice to major corporates. As a Non-Executive Director of The Osborne Group, Chair of LocatED and Chair of RE5Q, he is a renowned voice within the real estate sector with extensive experience and understanding of the industry.

Michael’s extensive understanding of global professional services organisations who have supported their clients with expertise and world-class service is well suited to Granger Reis and our ambitions.

He has provided strategic and implementation advice to leading brands and undoubtedly Michael will continue to do this in his role with us. This appointment will aid us on our quest to be recognised as the UK’s leading Real Estate, Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Natural Resources executive search provider and in doing so we will be able to secure the leaders of today and tomorrow for our wide range of global clients.

Prior to joining Granger Reis, Michael served as Executive Chairman for Europe & The Middle East and CEO and President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at CBRE Group. During his tenure at CBRE, he oversaw the transformation of the world’s largest commercial real estate proposition. This led to the expansion of the business to more than 140 offices in 40+ EMEA countries, leading more than 20,000 people.
