A comprehensive ESG Talent Mapping exercise, expanding search beyond direct competitors into adjacent industries to identify the ideal candidates
In order to identify the ideal candidates, we extensively mapped the key ESG talent in a variety of diverse organisations. Starting with our client's direct competitors', then expanding the research into client-side organisations and adjacent verticals to the advisory spaces to identify their ESG leadership.
We then leveraged our extensive network and expertise, whilst working closely with the client to understand their unique needs and requirements for the roles, including key responsibilities and performance expectations.
As this is an emerging offering in some territories, the depth of the talent pool was limited and therefore engaging talent from adjacent business types and industries was essential.
Passion for the subject matter was integral in any appointment in this area – as well as being able to demonstrate experience in all three areas (ESG), not solely environmental.
