Richard founded Granger Reis in 2008, with the ambition of becoming truly purposeful and disrupting the traditions of executive search. As our CEO, his focus is on ensuring we deliver against our mission and developing our strategic objectives. Under his leadership, we have achieved world class net promoter scores, co-created Kaiya, an AI specifically designed to support executive search and in 2024, we became a B Corporation. Richard continues to provide leadership and assessment services to our client’s Boards and CEOs globally. Drawing on his deep experience in the Infrastructure and Real Estate industries, he is an expert in construction and engineering.

Richard’s career started in civil engineering, entering the recruitment industry in 1994, and he co-founded his first business in 2000. He is married and has two daughters.

What excites you about the future for the executive search industry?
The role and influence we can have on identifying the future leaders for the clients we partner with, and in turn the influence they can have on delivering net-zero and a sustainable future. Additionally, the world needs leaders who think differently, and we need to think differently to seek these leaders. It is a time of change and that excites me.
