Digital Infrastructure

What is Digital Infrastructure? Hear from Practice Leader Steve Dargan in the video below...

Digital Infrastructure is the foundation of any connected business. It enables success, powers transformation, and brings people together across the world.

The growth in Digital Infrastructure is driven by cloud adoption and migration, the hybrid workplace and the critical shift created by automation and AI. It is also central to empowering service flexibility and capability on a global scale.

While Digital Infrastructure was once an enabler for business, it is now the primary source of competitive advantage.

Our role is to attract exceptional leaders who understand and embrace how Digital Infrastructure can create solutions now and for all our futures.

Our expertise lies in three core markets:

Data Centres

Data Centres are at the heart of digital services. But a worldwide shortage of available power is inhibiting growth of the global data centre market – a huge challenge as demand outstrips supply. With the growth of AI, the demand for Data Centres will continue to amplify.

Our clients in the Data Centre market include:

  • Hyperscalers
  • Global & Regional Data Center Operators (Build to Suit, Wholesale & Colocation)
  • Funds (Sovereign Wealth, Institutional, PE&VC, REiT’s and Infrastructure Funds)

Our expertise spans the whole Data Centre lifecycle from Investment & Development, through Design & Build to Commercial and Technical Operations.

Mobile networks are upgrading to support new applications. These range from autonomous vehicles to smart cities and the density in nodes and towers needs to increase significantly.

There is also an increase in the investment of small cells on street furniture such as streetlights, bus shelters and traffic lights.

Our clients in the Towers market are predominantly the TowerCo’s and Investment Funds. Our expertise in the Towers space is focused on:

  • Executive Level hiring
  • Investment/Development
  • Commercial functions

Fibre is widely regarded as the 4th utility, but with fibre coverage still below 20% on a global basis this is a highly fragmented market.

As the market matures, we expect to see an increase in M&A driven consolidation. FibreCo’s and Investors will be positioning themselves to win during this consolidation phase by focusing on areas such as network design and roll-out strategy.

Our clients in the Fibre space include FibreCo’s and Investment Funds where our expertise is focused on:

  • Executive Level hiring
  • Investment/Development, Delivery (Design & Build)
  • Commercial functions

As a Practice we have a strong track record of delivering engagements in the Digital Infrastructure space across North America, EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
