Mobile networks are upgrading to support new applications. These range from autonomous vehicles to smart cities and the density in nodes and towers needs to increase significantly.

There is also an increase in the investment of small cells on street furniture such as streetlights, bus shelters and traffic lights.

Fibre

Fibre is widely regarded as the 4^th utility, but with fibre coverage still below 20% on a global basis this is a highly fragmented market.
